Founded in small-town Canada in 2019, moondoggy has amassed over 500,000 monthly Spotify listeners and millions of streams through their relentless release strategy. Their debut record, "Mad and Noisy" introduced them to the world - unapologetically real and rough. The release lead to placements on Spotify editorial playlists such as All New Rock, Ready to Rock, Fresh Finds Canada & Viral 50 USA, giving them momentum and an established fanbase for their sophomore record "Changing Seasons, Breaking Even". With European & US Tours in the works, the band is gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated third record, with the first single set to release November 2025.

After recording their sophomore album Breaking Into Heaven at the legendary Abbey Road Studios and releasing it to widespread acclaim from triple j, Rage, and Rolling Stone, the band marked the occasion in unforgettable fashion — selling out a 700-capacity pre-release premiere at HOTA, performed live alongside a 33-piece Australian Session Orchestra as part of Bleach* Festival 2025.

Since then, Selve have shown no signs of slowing down. Hot off support slots for Radium Dolls and festival appearances at Lost Paradise and Spilt Milk, the band continue to cement their reputation as one of the most exciting live acts out of Australia, a powerhouse rock outfit carving their own rare path.
